The story, as reported

A small kitchen, kept on the record.

As profiled in the Napanee Beaver in January 2025, Fool's Kitchen was run as a husband-and-wife kitchen — chef David Yeung and Tia — and the Bell Fibe TV series "Full" devoted an episode, "No Fool," to the restaurant. The same coverage traced Cambodian and Vietnamese family roots on Tia's side — flavours that surface in the spring rolls, the herbs, the Vietnamese coffee.

That January 2025 profile also described the habit that defines the house: a menu rewritten roughly every three months, cooked fresh to order. Reviewers tell the rest — a tiny room where reservations are close to essential, and diners who drive forty minutes from Picton or Belleville for har gow and sesame maple ribs. The menu changes; by every account, the care doesn't.
